My partner and I got a Belgian Malinois from the humane shelter about 3 years ago. Freya has settled in but recently has started being aggressive about food. Our food. If the other dogs got to close to us while we are eating Freya has growled and one time even attacked one of the dogs. Luckily there was no blood but still, why all of a sudden? Sabra was able to tell us that the newest dog really gets on Freya's nerves sometimes and she just needs some more time. So we adjusted our thinking, but we noticed that without really having to do anything Freya has gone to Chill (full lie-down while we are eating) on her own and has stayed that way without being told over and over. This is something that Freya has never done before. We asked Sabra about it and she said 'Oh yes, I explained to Freya that the new dog wasn't going to take
your food so she didn't have to worry about it"
